Our Initiatives: Supporting India's Fight Against Drug Abuse

At Milaap Peace Foundation, our mission is executed in lockstep with the Government of India's visionary policies. We believe that sustainable change requires a collaborative effort, aligning our grassroots initiatives with the national framework to combat drug abuse and empower citizens. Our programs are specifically designed to support, amplify, and operationalize the following key government missions

Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) | Drug-Free India Campaign

Government Policy Overview: Launched by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, this nationwide campaign aims to create awareness about the ill effects of substance abuse, achieve a drug-free society by involving communities, and strengthen support systems for rehabilitation.

Our Aligned Initiative: Project Prakram

We act as a force multiplier for the NMBA by focusing on the most critical phase: *post-awareness rehabilitation and reintegration**. While the NMBA drives mass awareness, our "Project Prakram" provides the tangible pathway from rehabilitation centers to employment, ensuring that recovered individuals have the support needed to stay drug-free, directly contributing to the campaign's ultimate goal.

National Action Plan for Drug Demand Reduction (NAPDDR)

Government Policy Overview: This plan, under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, focuses on addressing the problem of drug and substance abuse in the country through education, de-addiction, and rehabilitation facilities. It emphasizes training for service providers and community-based initiatives.

Our Aligned Initiative: Employment-Ready Recovery Program

We directly support the NAPDDR's rehabilitation pillar. Our structured training curriculum for individuals in rehab centers fulfills the plan's objective of building capacity and providing sustainable support systems. We translate the policy's vision into on-the-ground, vocational training that leads to livelihoods.

Skill India Mission

Government Policy Overview: Led by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, this mission aims to empower India's workforce with skill training to make them more employable and productive. It encompasses various schemes like Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY).

Our Aligned Initiative: Aatmanirbhar Skill Track

We are a specialized implementation partner for the Skill India mission. We channel its resources and frameworks to a critically overlooked demographic: youth in recovery. We provide them with industry-relevant skill certifications, making them job-ready and transforming them into confident contributors to India's economy, truly embodying the spirit of a "Skilled India."

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY)

Government Policy Overview: This is a flagship scheme under the Skill India Mission that provides free short-duration skill training and monetary rewards to youth upon successful completion of the course and certification.

Our Aligned Initiative: PMKVY-Aligned Training Modules

Our technical skill training modules are designed to be compliant with the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF). We endeavor to get our training centers PMKVY-approved, allowing our beneficiaries to not only gain skills but also receive formal government certification, significantly enhancing their employability and the value they bring to our corporate partners.

National Rehabilitation Strategy (as part of the NDPS Act)

Government Policy Overview: The Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act emphasizes the establishment of government-run rehabilitation centers and the promotion of rehabilitation as a core strategy to combat drug dependence, moving beyond punitive measures.

Our Aligned Initiative: Public-Private Partnership (PPP) for Rehab

We work to create a synergistic PPP model. We partner with government rehabilitation centers to integrate our employment-focused training into their existing programs. This complements the government's infrastructure with our specialized, industry-linked training, creating a holistic "rehab-to-employment" pipeline that strengthens the national rehabilitation ecosystem.
