Skill India Mission | Building a Skilled & Employment-Ready Workforce

Government Policy Overview:
The Skill India Mission, led by the Government of India, aims to equip citizens with industry-relevant skills, enhance employability, and create a future-ready workforce aligned with the needs of a rapidly evolving economy. Through practical skill development, vocational education, and industry partnerships, the mission seeks to improve livelihoods and expand access to sustainable employment opportunities.

Our Aligned Initiative: AI-Enabled Digital Workforce Readiness Programme for Women

Milaap Peace Foundation advances the objectives of the Skill India Mission by providing underserved women in Pune with practical, employment-oriented digital and AI-enabled workplace training. Our programme bridges the gap between education and employment by developing competencies in computer applications, Google Workspace, AI productivity tools, professional communication, and career readiness. Combined with placement assistance and six months of post-training support, the programme enables women to transition confidently into the formal workforce and achieve long-term economic independence.

The National Skill Development Mission (NSDM) provides the overarching framework for expanding quality skill development across India through coordinated efforts between government, industry, training institutions, and civil society. Our Aligned Initiative: AI-Enabled Digital Workforce Readiness Programme for Women

Our programme translates the objectives of the National Skill Development Mission into practical, community-based action. Through structured, hands-on training, underserved women develop digital literacy, Google Workspace proficiency, AI workplace productivity skills, professional communication, and employability competencies required by today's employers. By combining practical instruction, career preparation, placement assistance, and continued post-training mentoring, we help participants build sustainable careers and long-term financial resilience.

Skill India Mission

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY)

Government Policy Overview: This is a flagship scheme under the Skill India Mission that provides free short-duration skill training and monetary rewards to youth upon successful completion of the course and certification.

Our technical skill training modules are designed to be compliant with the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF). We endeavor to get our training centers PMKVY-approved, allowing our beneficiaries to not only gain skills but also receive formal government certification, significantly enhancing their employability and the value they bring to our corporate partners.

India AI Mission / YUVA AI for ALL

Government Policy Overview: The IndiaAI Mission, launched by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), is India's national initiative to democratise artificial intelligence and build a globally competitive, AI-literate workforce. The YUVA AI for ALL programme specifically targets youth, women, and underserved communities — ensuring that AI awareness and application reach every citizen, not just the technically privileged.

Our Aligned Initiative: Digital Freedom Mission for Women

We bring the IndiaAI Mission's vision to its most critical last mile — underprivileged women who would otherwise never access AI tools or training. Through structured, community-based, 45-day batches, we deliver YUVA AI for ALL modules and Google AI Essentials certification to housewives, BPL candidates, and first-generation digital learners across Pune and beyond.
